I purchased my Interceptor in February 2021 and ran it for a full season on the lake with no issues. The boat came with ZERO service records, so I figure I'll replace everything in the off season. This includes the impeller. I ordered an impeller kit and when I went out yesterday to winterize my craft, I looked at the location of the impeller housing. Waaaaaay down and only a few inches in front of the stern bench seat back. BTW, I have the 5.7Gi-B engine. There is no access panel from the rear seat (that I know of anyway). I'm familiar with the procedure to change the impeller - the Clymer Volvo Penta Manual is excellent, but how on Earth can I get to the bracket bolts and four housing screws in such a confined space? Any insight is appreciated.
